Function Cost Manager - London : Up to c.£50,000pa and excellent benefits package including private healthcare and pension

An experienced Function CostManager is required by this global engineering consultancy. Working as a business partner within a specified division of a multi-billion pound project, you will be responsible for managing and administering all cost related data for your part of the project.

The role includes ensuring that all resources are allocated to work packages, and that all time and costs are correctly allocated within the 4 week period. You will provide variance reports to senior management on a regular basis, and liaise with Central and other Function Cost Managers to ensure consistency across the cost control function. In addition, you will produce 6-monthly departmental estimates for the bottom up estimate.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

? Experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of contracts and ideally knowledge of quantity surveying or construction
? You must have a broad finance background, together with a sound commercial approach
? Excellent inter-personal skills, with the ability to present and influence at all levels within the organisation.

You must be eligible to work within the UK for this position.
