Air Conditioning Sales Engineer - National

Personality:
Self-motivated, technically-minded with a keenness to develop and learn. Can speak knowledgeably about the practicalities of the job and quote correctly. Great attention to detail and comfortable in dealing with clients at all levels.
Personal Situation:
Able to work extended hours when required.
Must have clean or near clean driving licence. Looking for salespeople who are able to deliver a consultative sale, advising the customer on the realistic implications of the job quoted, rather than merely ?making the sale?. Someone with at least 2 years experience within the industry, who has been actively involved in drawing up plans, fitting units, and ordering relevant parts, etc.
ONC or HNC in Building Services, or a Degree in the same, is hugely advantageous.
Specific Job Skills:
Ability to quote jobs competently, order correct parts, and supply technical drawings relevant to work. Working on territory and within Head Office to generate new sales leads, compile technical drawings and plans, identify business opportunities, follow up leads, etc, to increase profitability and grow the business.
Business and Selling Skills:
Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
Able to deliver a technical sale, providing an advisory service on the realistic nature of the job to the client, and identifying potential problems quickly and effectively.
