Our client requires an Electrical Estimator join their team based in Cambridgeshire.
To be considered for this post ALL applicants must have the following skills and experiences:
Experience in mechanical services estimating within the residential/housing market sectors.
Experience of a wide range of Mechanical Services installations and systems.
The ability to read, interpret and understand specifications and drawings.
Experience of computerised estimating software.
The ability to think ahead, plan and prioritise workload.
The ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
Numeracy and literacy skills.
The ability to work as part of a team.
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Good communication skills.
A proactive approach to problem solving.
Computer Literacy : MS Office and Estimation.
Product knowledge within the Mechanical sector.
Basic design knowledge skills relating to Mechanical Services
You?ll bring your expert knowledge of quantifying materials, plant & labour to their prestigious projects.
Preparing estimates using computer aided systems and assessing tender bids will be a critical task & you will follow procedures and meet deadlines throughout.
You?ll need electrical experience within the construction industry covering a wide range of projects.
Product knowledge is essential as is the ability to understand specifications, drawings and suppliers/ subcontractor?s quotations.
You?ll need to be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to focus on detail under pressure of deadlines and have a proactive approach to problem solving.
