Senior Buyer required : Kew, Richmond, Surrey. £35k basic + car allowance+Bupa+pension
Our client in the UK is a leading specialist mechanical and electrical engineering and facilities services company, with more than 100 years of experience. They provide a total life cycle of care for a facility, including the design, build and installation of mechanical and electrical systems, then the ongoing maintenance of these services and the provision of integrated facilities management.

We currently seek an experienced senior buyer who has worked at management level
to provide and run at a local level, a cost effective procurement service to the operational business units. The ability to manage a small team of 4 dealing with sub contractors and suppliers. Some travel is part of this role including Cardiff, Manchester and Newcastle
Principle Accountabilities are as follows;
? Manage the day to day sub contract process including the variations
? Carry out supplier and sub contract audits and evaluations
? Manage and develop the team to deliver and meet the business needs
? Manage key supplier performance for the predefined category portfolio to achieve business targets
? Manage internal customer relationships
? Evaluate and assess new suppliers
? Support cross business unit collaboration processes
? Propose, implement and project manage proactive cost reduction and supplier improvement programmes within and across regional teams
? To offer support to the Business both at bid stage and the implementation of contracts
Qualifications & Experience Required:
? At least 3 years experience within a similar role.
? Should either hold a CIP qualification or be willing to qualify following suitable training.
? BIFM or CIP membership would be an advantage.
? Previous experience in FM environment would be desirable.
? Good IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
? Must have excellent communication and relationship skills.
? Good level of presentation skills.
