We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, whose duties will include the electrical inspection, repair and maintenance of fixed plant machinery.
Candidates will be required to carry out planned breakdown maintenance and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment which includes mixing machines, conveyors, overhead cranes, saws and casting machines, disconnecting Motors and accessing the sites main Electrical control panels.
Candidates must have served an electrical apprenticeship with mechanical ability within a manufacturing industry, ideally with some PLC experience, along with working knowledge of the 16th edition IEE Regs.
The right candidate must be of a self-motivated and conscientious individual who is happy to work with minimal supervision, but also have the ability to be a team player.
We require an experienced and flexible person, who is able to use their own initiative and be able to use new techniques and skills, a positive attitude to quality and SHE is also a necessity.
Hours:
Days - Typically 50 Hours Per Week - Monday to Friday - Time & Half paid over 40 hours.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
