Our client requires an Electrical Site Supervisor to join their team based in Cambridgeshire

Purpose/Main Functions of Position

To work on site supervising the tradesmen. To work alongside the Project Engineer in order to assist with the completion of M&E contracts.

Duties:

? Assign tasks to all tradesmen: plumbers, pipe fitters or subcontract labour under your direct control.

? Deploy all tradesmen to achieve maximum productivity.

? Requisition and progress supply of necessary equipment and materials to tradesmen when required.

? Maintain day-to-day liaison and programme of work with main contractor and monitor progress of work with main contractor to ensure that the agreed programme is met.

? Inspect all work of tradesmen for quality, progress and satisfactory completion.

? Verify booking on and off job by tradesmen, checking of timesheets, keeping site diary to verify and control labour, materials and equipment on site.

? Ensure compliance of all work within specifications, whether executed by the organisations tradesmen or by subcontractors.

? Ensure that all tradesmen under your direct control adopt safe methods of work.

? Attend site meetings if required.

? Organise, supervise and record tests and inspections as and when required during the contract.

? Conduct monthly assessments of money drawn and compare with percentage of work complete and report to Contracts Manager/Project Engineer.

? Undertake any other duties that reasonably occur within the scope of the position.
