My client, an oil and gas service company, has a requirement for time served electrical engineers to install, commission, service and repair its equipment on a worldwide basis. You must have experience in fault finding on complex control systems, including PLC systems, preferably within an automated environment. Ideal candidates will have an HNC in Electrical Engineering and will come from a Manufacturing, or FMCG, background with experience of maintaining mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.

Responsibilites
? Installing, commissioning and fault finding on PLC control systems.
? Working with AC and or DC drives.
? Working on Hazardous Area installations.
? Installing, commissioning, fault finding on intrinsically safe circuits.
? Survey all types of drilling rigs for installation of various associated drilling equipment.
? Optimise company equipment performance.
? Providing crew training on company equipment.
? Liaise directly with Client personnel on and offshore.
? Prepare daily reports, survey reports and service logs.
? Initiate and oversee programmes of development and recommend improvements to products and systems
? Proposing modifications and retesting products.
? Qualifying the final product or system.
? Servicing and maintaining equipment.
? Understanding and amending detailed electrical schematics.
