Are you an experienced Buyer in electrical and/or electronic components now seeking a new challenge in a highly successful international company?

In this role you will take responsibility for the full range of purchasing activity, sourcing and introducing suppliers in line with company procedures, negotiating and maintaining terms and conditions with both direct suppliers and third parties and providing commercial support to other departments within the company, where necessary co-ordinating supplier involvement. You will be expected to play a major role in the strategic management and development of the supply base, and the elimination and management of risks within the supply chain. You will also be responsible for maintaining your purchasing data on Oracle.

You must have 3-4 years? solid purchasing experience in electrical and/or electronic components and be confident in negotiating and agreeing terms and contracts with both direct suppliers and third parties. You must be computer literate and some experience of Oracle would be an advantage, although training will be given. Resilient, well organised and focussed, you consider yourself to be a purchasing professional and would like to join an expanding international organisation that will offer you interesting work now and development opportunities in the future.
