Our client is responsible for the management and operation of the power system in the Republic of Ireland, planning that system, and overseeing the development and maintenance of the transmission network. They are working together with others to develop and operate the new All Island Market for Electricity.

Job Description
The successful applicant will contribute to the overall success of the Customer Relations team in understanding and meeting the needs of the client?s customer base. The role of the function is to effectively and efficiently manage the TSO?s relationships with its customers and stakeholders, promote high-quality customer service, and provide support to the customer base in relation to all technical and commercial aspects of the industry. The customers are the users of the transmission system and broadly comprise large industrial users, large fossil fuel and renewable generators, and the suppliers of electricity. The Customer Relations team also assists in the management of requests for new connections to the transmission system.

The successful candidate will contribute as a member of the Customer Relations team to deliver the following:

General Customer Support
Provision of professional support for all customers, prospective customers and the general public, managing queries relating to a wide spectrum of electricity industry issues.
Coordinate/host meetings between the customer and the TSO.
Track commitments to ensure delivery of agreed action items.
Responsible for the development and operation of appropriate systems and procedures to enable the management of customer information flows, both internally and externally, ensuring that a uniform, comprehensive and high-quality approach is being adopted.

Key Account Management
Responsible for the account management of a minimum of 20 key Customer Accounts ensuring that the customer is fully supported in relation to both the technical and commercial aspects of the electricity industry.
Work with different parts of the organisation to ensure all customer requests are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Build and maintain consistent and strategic relationships with customers? key people, obtaining expert knowledge and expertise of the specifics of each customer account, in relation to electricity usage, load requirements, site operations, and future expansion plans, etc.

Other Key responsibilities:
Formally represent the client at various industry forums.
Identify appropriate customer service levels and advance new policies to promote Customer Service.
Work as part of the Customer Relations Team to progress the customer-focused initiatives as agreed with the Customer Relations Manager.
Develop and maintain at least one area of specialist knowledge with regard to the electricity industry and how it impacts on the customer.

Essential Skills and Experience
Primary degree in Engineering/Business or equivalent (PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A MUST HAVE. WITHOUT A TECHNICAL DEGREE THE CLIENT WILL NOT CONSIDER YOU AND YOU WOULD BE WASTING YOUR TIME BY APPLYING)
At least 2 years experience in a customer relations role
And/or
At least 2 years experience within the electricity industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Speaks/presents effectively in front of key groups (both internal and external).
Ability to manage and prioritise a wide range of demands and ongoing activities whilst maintaining a positive and consistent customer focus.
Strong commercial awareness.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT THE SALARY IN THE ADVERT IS £30,300 WHICH IS A CONVERSION OF THE EURO SALARY OF 45,000 EUROS

The ideal candidate is likely to have 2 years experience in this type of role and the salary of c45,000 Euros reflects this. Other benefits include a pension and bonus scheme
