Customer Services Advisor- Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Salary £7.17 / hour
Our client is a leading international book distributor, journal subscription fulfilment and circulation management specialist. They provide a bespoke range of services to over 50 international publishers covering a variety of sectors such as professional, academic, scientific, technical, medical and not-for-profit.
They require a Customer Service Advisor, initially on a temporary basis, to carry out the day-to-day activities associated with the provision of a multi-publisher order fulfilment operation to all customers for books, subscriptions, and on-line products.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To process all orders and deal with all claims, address changes, and enquiries in a timely, efficient, accurate and professional manner.
To maintain an accurate, live customer file to include customer/campaign codes to enable production of marketing reports, avoiding duplications, and ensuring correct address structuring.
To carry out procedures in the processing of book returns.
To carry out the de-duping and re-structuring as and when necessary.
To carry out procedures which will involve invoice cancellations and refunds.
To assist in the loading of new records for existing and new publishers.
To give support in the testing and implementation of new software and also training of staff, if required.
To assist the Book and Subscription Departments as and when necessary.
To ensure Health and Safety and Data Protection Act procedures are adhered to.
To carry out all other relevant duties as may be required by their Supervisor or Manager.
Any Other Information
Overtime will be required during the busy periods and on an ad-hoc basis.
