Sophisticated C++ career role in successful and well established firm. Wide variety of C++ challenges working the A to Z of C++ software projects, each 3 to 6 months long. Strong potential for advancement. All C++ development includes a strong element of problem solving, mathematical analysis, numerical modelling or statistical design, so mathematicians and physicists with software do well here. Target skills start with excellent communication skills (spoken AND written) together with at least one strength from FORTRAN, C, C++, VB, Java (ideally J2EE but any Java will do), C# or .NET.
