Our client?s scheme in Hemel Hempstead will be a large mixed-use development of over 450 units with commercial offices and some retail in the heart of the town. This project will be a landmark development including the total refurbishment of an existing 20+ tower. The build cost for this project is in excess of £50m.
The Person
They are seeking to appoint a high calibre Manager to work on this development. You will have previous expertise in the residential field and have built a number of similarly large schemes for recognised developer/house builders. You must have experience in working on projects over £25 million in build cost value to be considered for this role as this project is over £50m.
Reporting directly into the Senior Project Manager your duties will be to manage up to 8 Site Managers, 8 Foremen, and 3 Engineers and be in control of a Direct Labour force.
This is an essential part of the role and you must be able to show a track record of managing managers to be considered for this role. Please state in your CV/Application your level of experience in this field.
This role is supporting the Senior Project Manager, who will be managing the strategic management of the project, and will be heavily based out on site being his eyes and ears. They are looking for an individual who knows how to motivate, create team spirit and drive the project on in an intelligent fashion.
Ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety will be paramount alongside consistently producing extremely high standards of build quality and programme management.
