Would you like to use your Operational Analysis experience in a consultancy role?

This defence and engineering consultancy is seeking an operational analyst with a broad range of experience in defence analysis techniques. You will be responsible for the full range of Operational Analysis, including preparing OA plans suited to the needs, resources and timescales of the project and its customers; conducting OA in support of project objectives; contributing to the selection, development and use of analysis methods, tools and techniques; supporting Synthetic Environment based Concept Development and Experimentation in the design of experiments and use of scenarios, doctrine and Concepts of Operation; and reporting of results using written reports and presentations.

You must have at least 5 years? experience in Operational Analysis, with a broad knowledge of OA methods, tools and techniques. You will have a good knowledge of one or more military domains, including familiarity with UK doctrine, Conops, fielded systems and possible future systems. You must also be able to demonstrate understanding of MoD requirements and processes for conducting OA, Network Enabled Warfare, Defence Lines of Development and the CADMID cycle and Smart Acquisition processes.

Additionally, you will have good written and presentations skills, with experience in proposal writing. You must be able to communication effectively at customer meetings and be comfortable working as part of a team as well as on your own. You must be PC literate (Microsoft packages) and be educated to at least first degree level or equivalent.
