Technical Officer - Rotherham - Yorkshire - salary £21k - £24k + Excellent benefits package

Full HHSRS and Decent Homes training available if required. Must have HND or HNC in Building Surveying or equivalent. £21,000 - £24,000 per annum

The main purpose of this role is to carry out Decent Homes Surveys and HHSRS Inspections to private sector properties for vulnerable persons in the Rotherham area. To give advice and assistance on repairs and renovations required and to project manage works to property from first inspection to final completion.

Main Responsibilities of the role

-To visit and inspect the homes of older people
-To oversee building work and resolve disputes
-To carryout a final inspection and prepare snags
-To prepare all contract documentation for signing
-Make sure all file records are up to date
