This is a fantastic opportunity working for a top leading company within the UK. They are looking for an experience Project Estimator who has experience and qualifications.
Principle Accountabilities:
? Evaluate customer requirements and produce proposals including cost with in the Contract timescales.
? Carry out the production of Project Scopes based on the requirements of the Client and end users.
? Maintain control of the project programme to ensure compliance with the Company Service Level Agreements.
? Carry out the preparation and submission for approval of cost notifications to the Client through effective management techniques.
? Liase as necessary with the supply chain as necessary to calculate Project costing.
? Provide regular project updates to management team. Maintaining day to day
Qualifications and Experience:
? The ability to establish, implement and monitor high standards of excellence in areas of quality, safety and operational performance.
? This position requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
? Good all round knowledge of project management disciplines i.e. Electrical, Mechanical and Building and Civil Engineering.
? Be commercially aware and have a sound knowledge of budget preparation, negotiation and management.
? Articulate, numerate and IT literate : In MS Word & Excel.
? Have good people management, leadership, decision-making and communications skills. Be resilient under pressure and be able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers and customers at all levels.
