Managing Planner (Construction) - Slough. Competitive salary plus benefits.
Our client is looking for a Managing Planner to be responsible for the management of information and progress monitoring (against programmes) and requisitioning of resources (plant/materials/sub-contractors) on one major project or a number of small/medium project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
translate contract information into logical/buildable construction programme
monitor/update and distribute construction programmes to the project team and subcontractors requisition plant and materials to meet the requirements of the programme
coordinate the flow of technical/design information through the project team from designers to subcontractors
manage the development of Planners and Trainees
forecast and report variations to construction programmes and planned costs
support tendering activity including value engineering/risk identification, prelim costs and client presentations
Qualifications Required:
Construction related HNC or Degree, or equivalent practical experience. CSCS card - Construction Planner. MCIOB
