The purpose of the job is to manage our operations at Cairneyhill in conjunction with the Quarry Manager.
You will be responsible for the efficient and effective running of this busy Hard Rock and Coated Unit.
You will have good practical experience of the quarrying industry and a sound working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
You must be self motivated and posses good communication and teamworking skills, and be prepared to commit to work towards formal qualificatons such as NVQ.

Main Duties
To ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Environmental Protection Act and requirements of other statuory bodies.
To lead performance improvements in relation to Group Policy towards zero tolerance accidents
To create and manage small flexable working teams at the unit, capable of delivering customer requirements efficiently. The setting of goals
and the management of performance will be key features of the deputy managers duties.
To lead and promote the Trident programme ensuring targets are met and opportunities are delivered
