Assistant Construction Site Manager - Cambridge. Competitive salary plus benefits.

Our client is looking for an Assistant Site Manager to be responsible for specific tasks within a project team to support the profitable and safe completion of a project on time, and to their Client?s satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities
direct and supervising sub-contractors and operatives to ensure that construction programmes are met
support the promotion of a safety culture by monitoring and correcting safety related issues report variances to costs to QS
regularly monitoring site safety standards and instigate corrective actions where required
support Site Engineer with setting out/levelling and site datum tasks
minimise wastage by ensuring that plant/materials are stored and utilised correctly.

Qualifications Required
Construction related HNC or Degree, or equivalent practical experience. CSCS card - Site Supervision.
