We have a vacancy Catering Equipment Maintenance Operative within the AD&N Division and based at RAF Brize Norton.

Objective:

To carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance and repair of catering equipment. To assist the Technical Manager with the operation of contract deliveries. Employed to carry out works on various mechanical electrical and gas components associated with commercial catering equipment.

Duties Include:
· Record all actions, call outs, faults etc, in an appropriate format as required by the Line Manager/Site Supervisor/Manager/Client.
· Planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all equipment in accordance with procedures, industry good practice and manufacturer?s instructions.
· To act as a Competent Person for gas systems as nominated, following suitable and sufficient training.
· The monitoring of equipment to ensure efficient and correct running.
· Inspection and repair of catering equipment in accordance with agreed safe working procedures and company quality standards.

· Assist with general support duties as required (e.g. materials ordering, equipment moves, etc).
· To operate part of the call out team on emergency call-out duties. Minor repairs / modifications as appropriate, and documentation of incidents correctly and promptly, liaise with the customer at all stages.
· To carry out defect rectification as appropriate.
· Knowledgeable and up to date with matters relating to Health & Safety and ensure compliance at all times.
· Work from drawings and manuals without supervision
· Assisting the Technical Manager with the monitoring of sub-contractors to ensure adherence to all relevant specifications, standards, codes of practice and statutory regulations. Assisting with the production of reports and attendance at meetings when required
.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

Qualifications:
· Secure security clearance for RAF Brize Norton
· Secure airfield driving licence permit
· Current valid driving licence
