Senior Consultant, Investment Management - Sybase/SQL, South West London/Surrey - to £65k + benefits


My client is a world leader in providing a unique and comprehensive range of investment management and business process management process management software solutions. A senior consultant is required to join an existing team of c6 consultants based in Surrey but servicing clients throughout the UK and Europe. The successful applicant must be in a position to travel to client sites with the UK and Europe as and when required. The role will include providing the necessary skills to advise clients how to utilize the company?s product and solution offerings as effectively as possible. Candidates will be expected to project manage an agreed number of implementations, updating the Consultancy Manager, Client manager or Associate Director with progress on projects and identifying resources required. You will be expected to manage other implementation and trainee consultants. Additionally the following will be expected:
Increase the support available to on-site implementation team members; Scope and provide increased services to our clients in the way of best practice suggestions, provide assistance in modelling techniques and regulatory approach discussions; Manage and assist in the production of Consultancy Team Documentation; Manage and assist in Development Specification Reviews; Assist in Front Line issue analysis; Manage and Assist in the provision of Sales support : Proof of concepts, workshop building, off the shelf demonstrations; Assist in the sales cycle providing demonstrations to clients; Produce white papers on related topics for publication; Assist product strategy as required :involvement in regular forum to discuss product strategy and development. Candidates should be proficient in SQL and Sybase SQL and have strong communication skills combined with investment management and project management experience
