Evidence / Quant Analyst, Investment Research, Southampton, Competitive salary and benefits package

My client is ranked as one of the UK?s largest gatherers of retail assets. Total Funds under management now exceeds £39 billion with £7.1 billion advised by the investment research team. They have an immediate requirement for an Evidence/Quant Analyst to work within their Investment Research team. Applicants must possess a Degree level of education preferably in maths, statistics or econometrics. A postgraduate would also be an advantage. Applicants must be numerate, highly confident with statistics, and with a thorough knowledge of investment theory and have prior experience as investment performance and risk analytics in asset manager or multi-manager. 3 years plus experience in the investment industry is required, as is a strong knowledge of Office (excel, word, powerpoint, etc.) and other technical software (Bloomberg, Mathlab, etc). Good communication skills, a professional and friendly manner and personal organisational skills are a must.
