Credit Analyst - Asset Finance / Leasing - Watford - £30k

A Credit Analyst / Underwriter is required by our client, an Asset Finance / leasing company based in Watford.

Core responsibilities include

1. Timely and accurate underwriting of proposals within delegated authority and the provision of analysis and recommendation in respect of proposals in excess of that limit.

2. Identify all material risks and opportunities including commercial issues to ensure that they are adequately assessed and mitigated in order to arrive at a balanced and informed recommendation.

3. Discuss proposals with introductory sources and colleagues as required.

4. Prioritise workload and seek management assistance where necessary in order to meet internal turnaround times in line with business objectives.

5. Maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers in order to optimise business effectiveness without compromising risk management imperatives.

6. Production of various risk-based reports on both a monthly and ad-hoc basis

7. Provide assistance in other functional areas as required, particularly in Collections and Asset Management

8. Compliance with the Company?s Credit and Risk Policies

Experience In underwriting of both ?hard? and ?soft? assets in a leasing environment an
advantage
