Our client a leading manufacturer within the automotive industry are looking to recruit an experienced Supervisor/Manager to motivate and increase the skills level of the production team. You will be fully accountable for the organisation of the Production team and will look after the objectives in terms of performances, quality, delivery and cost. You will manage targets in respect of productivity and ensure that all planning is co-coordinated in relation to strict deadlines. Maintenance management will be an integral part of the role as you will be responsible for ensuring preventative maintenance is applied to all equipment & machines and that all Health & Safety rules are well respected in your plant. Quality standards are also paramount and you will be required to make sure that all quality procedures are followed by the production team. All products sent to the customer are in conformance with the quality standards or the quality department has accepted derogation in case of doubt. Our client is looking for an individual with the ability to work under pressure and problem solve. Excellent people skills coupled with a good level of communication are important attributes for this role. An understanding of the automotive or manufacturing business with knowledge of production performance measures would be a distinct advantage. Hours of work are 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday.
