We are seeking a Service Manager to take charge of an electrical spares distributor in the Bristol / Bath area as General Manager. The business is part of a UK £70M group and has a turnover of nearly £2.0 million, employs 8 people and delivers a healthy bottom line. The business is very successful and has shown steady year on year growth in turnover and profits under the guidance of the previous General Manager who has recently been promoted internally to manage a bigger operation.

The business concentrates on the provision of spare parts to the builders merchants sector on a national basis for leading electrical heating branded products produced by a broad range of manufacturers.

You will be operating within a stand alone profit centre and control all aspects of the P&L. The General Manager position is autonomous with full P&L accountability, you will be controlling all aspects of the business including sales, distribution, stock, purchasing, customer services etc. Opportunities for the business lie in broadening the product range and the internet.
