Senior Auditor

Candidates should possess strong communication and report writing skills, be customer focused with a good understanding of word processing and spreadsheet packages. Knowledge of local government systems based audit and an awareness of risk anagement issues would be beneficial but not essential. The candidate should be a good team player and be able to offer direction to other audit staff they supervise. They should ideally be CCAB qualified or finalist accountant, or equivalent (i.e. Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors), with relevant experience, or a full AAT with further relevant experience in a similar role. The post holder will be a key member of the audit team and will have an opportunity to undertake and lead audit assignments relating to a wide range of services.
