It has particular expertise in high-integrity computer systems, predictive services and information management. They are seeking to employ a Service Support Engineer for either Derby or Bristol

SUMMARY OF ROLE

To deliver and support integrated software and data management services to business customers.


OUTLINE OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

?To deliver and implement aircraft data and web services to specification, cost and customer satisfaction
?To work with the customer to ensure the customer supplied elements of the service implementation project are delivered to plan.
?To report progress (financial, technical, schedule, contractual, relationships) in an accurate and timely manner.
?To project manage any required minor customisation of the service that existing customers may agree.
?To manage the on-going delivery of the software and data management services (post-project implementation).
?To be hands-on with the service; i.e. act as product engineer, service engineer troubleshooter, customer trainer, logistics coordinator, vendor manager, configuration controller as may be required from time to time.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
?Degree level or equivalent experience/technical qualification
?Ability to write technical reports
?At least 3 years experience in a project team type environment within a technical environment preferably with airline or aviation experience and with customer exposure
?Strong communication and customer facing skills
?Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
?Proven ability to handle difficult customer situations
?Problem management and resolution
?Service Industry mentality
