Senior / Principal Consultant, Ecology - Edinburgh, Glasgow - Salary Negotiable
Our Client takes a new approach to environmental management - a single source that provides a comprehensive range of consultancy, software services and products, underpinned by science, supported by research.
As part of a programme of diversification they are building up a wider capability in risk-based services and are looking for suitably qualified and experienced staff to join their expanding team.
They seek candidates with a minimum of four years experience of ecological assessment. Candidates should have a strong technical background and an understanding of EIA/Appropriate Assessment. Experience of a similar role within consultancy would be preferable. Candidates should have good field skills and be able to demonstrate competency in extended Phase I Habitat and protected species surveys. Possession of a Protected Species Licence, and botanical identification skills to NVC level, would be an advantage. Candidates should have excellent project management and communication skills, and have the ability to support and develop clients.
