Summary of Role:
1x Engineer on a standard 37hr week - £23-£31,000
1x Engineer on shifts 24/7, on a 12 hour shift pattern - £23-£31,000 (plus shift premium of 30%)

You will be responsible for the delivery of gas turbine EHM (Engine Health Monitoring) services to our clients? civil aero engine customers.
The role will include the supply of the EHM service to airline and Rolls-Royce group customers in support of Total Care agreements as well as services to direct customer airlines.

Outline of Role and Responsibilities:
** The triage and interpretation of output from the analysis system in order to initiate predetermined fault diagnosis processes
** Communication of resultant triage to Rolls Royce and direct customers in an appropriate manner, including population of the appropriate service delivery web portal
** Analysis of aircraft engine data using our clients tools to provide alert, trends and other fleet management information
** Preparation and issue of regular service reports to Rolls Royce and direct customer airlines
** Ensure continuity of service delivery between shift changes
** Maintain clear and concise communication with our clients based EHM team
** Supervise operation of the analysis IT system, as required, to ensure its continued operation
** Participate in the specification and development of tools to deliver high quality EHM services
** Assist our client in their EHM service delivery team when necessary
** Deputise for team leader in his absence for pre-determined activities
** Maintain plans for personal work and occasionally for work involving others
** Assist and, as required, supervise the work of EHM technicians in the provision of the EHM service
** Liaise with EHM team leader and other staff as required, including suggestions for improvements to service efficiency or quality

Skills and Experience:
** Engineering Degree level or equivalent - preferably mechanical/aero based
** Experience in a gas turbine technical post with customer interface/contact and performance experience desirable
** Experience in an IT business with emphasis on business/engineering. Help Desk/On-Call environment, Service Industry background with customer interface would be desirable
** Fundamentals of engineering principles, including gas turbine operations
** Basic computing
** IT : well developed with technical/analytical approach
** Ability to make practical judgements based on EHM systems
** Able to work under pressure and to short term deadlines demonstrating decisiveness, flexibility, self motivation, attention to detail and responsibility
** Interpersonal and good communication skills are essential
