Receptionist - Leeds
Package: £14-18,000 plus Pension, Healthcare, Private Health, 25 Days Holiday
My client requires an experienced & professional receptionist, with an excellent telephone manner to be the first point of contact for customers, both by telephone and face to face. Using our BT Meridian switchboard, the receptionist is the first point of contact for incoming calls to all staff and it will be your responsibility to ensure that calls are dealt with in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
You will be responsible for welcoming visitors to the Leeds office, both staff and customers, in each case ensuring that the relevant signing-in procedures are followed. It is important that visitors are given a positive first impression of the company, and you will need to make sure that the reception area reflects the company?s corporate image.
In addition to the above, you will also be responsible for:-
? Co-ordinating deliveries, faxes and postal services.
? Ensuring that a comfortable, professional reception environment is presented to visitors.
? Co-ordinating the booking of meeting rooms and refreshments.
? Ensuring that relevant documentation is updated regularly.
? Ensuring that meeting rooms are clean and tidy.
? Ad hoc administration
My client requires a candidate with good interpersonal skills, initiative and demonstrable organisational abilities. You will have a confident attitude and be comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels both internally and externally. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications is expected and familiarity with Meridian switchboards would be
Advantageous.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience either front of house or on a busy switchboard and be of professional appearance.
