Residential Home Manager - Midlands : Ilkeston : Derbyshire : DE7 - salary £22k - £25k + Benefits

We are looking for a Residential Home Manager to work for one of our high profile clients in Derbyshire. The main purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of the home by planning and delivering a viable, sensitive and efficient care service to residents, which enhances their quality of life.

-Managing a 40 bed residential home.
-Duties include finance, budgets, recruitment, marketing and managing the home to care standards.
-£22000.00 - £25000.00 per annum

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

Experience

? Proven Home Management experience with NVQ4 Health & Social Care or RMA qualification or equivalent/ first level registered nurse within a Nursing Home.

? Experience of managing a budget and working to a Business Plan.

? Experience of working with and empathising with older people.

? Full understanding of the National Minimum Standards for Care Homes for older people and their impact in care and management practice.

? Current knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and application of Health and Safety practice.

? Experience in the management, development and recruitment of staff including handling conflict, disciplinary action etc

? Effective use of staff resources, including Anchor support services.

? Demonstrate awareness of different values/cultures amongst residents and staff.

? Knowledge of Equal Opportunities and employment legislation

? Uses IT skills effectively to meet the demands of own workload and seeks to maximise the use of IT systems to enhance service delivery in future
