Payroll Services Manager - North East : Longbenton - Newcastle - salary £40k - £42k + Fantastic Benefits Package
Our client is looking for a Payroll Services Manager to work from its prestigious offices in Newcastle.
The Payroll Manager is responsible for managing the payroll services team within the Shared Service Centre, and will have a key role in managing relationships with key stakeholders in the companies businesses and its external payroll provider.
Payroll Manager Responsibilities
1. Manage the internal payroll team to deliver a first class payroll service.
2. Work with key stakeholders in companies businesses to develop clear communications and service level agreements.
3. Regularly report performance to key stakeholders and consult with them on ways to improve service.
4. Support companies businesses to ensure that their managers and staff have appropriate understanding of company payroll processes and procedures.
5. Provide support to new manager?s induction in payroll processes.
6. Attend service review meetings with companies external payroll provider.
7. Work to continuously improve the delivery of payroll services to companies businesses.
Skills & Experience Required
1. At least two years experience of payroll management.
2. Knowledge of taxation, pension and all pay related components.
3. Previous experience of working with outsourced payroll providers desirable.
4. Membership of the Institute of Payroll and Pensions desirable.
