Assistant Manager/ Manager : Financial Promotions - London

Salary: to £45,0000 plus flexible benefits package, 25 days holiday

We are looking for an assistant manager or manager with specific experience of the regulation of Financial Promotions to work in regulatory consulting division within this major blue chip company
Qualifications & Experience

? Degree and / or relevant professional qualification and/or significant relevant consulting or industry expertise

? Experience in Financial Services business environment of financial services industry, regulation, and operating practices. Minimum of 3 years Financial industry experience across any of the following
o Retail Banking
o Wholesale/Investment Banking
o Insurance (General or Life and Pensions)
Proven track record in the delivery of regulatory projects

? Detailed technical knowledge of the FSA?s Financial Promotions rules either in respect of COBS, or MCOB and ICOBS:
? Understanding of the regulator?s use of Treating Customers Fairly in the context of financial promotions.
? Understanding of wider customer communications requirements both in respect of UK regulation and under MiFID.
? Experience of application of financial promotions approval processes within industry : both in terms of procedures and approval controls.
? Awareness of application of financial promotions where a third party or appointed representative is communicating financial promotions on behalf of a product provider.
? Responsibilities will include digesting the impact of the requirements as they continue to develop, offering health check assessments, and providing implementation and technical support services where remediation is required. Successful candidates will be required to work across several work streams simultaneously and manage senior stakeholder expectations.
Applicants will also be expected to augment the firms thought leadership by identifying opportunities to innovate, and developing tools and methodologies to take this to market
